Richard C. Jirsa, DDS, MS
Dr. Jirsa has been in practice locally since 1989. He graduated magna cum laude from Cornell College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry and then went on to pursue a career in dentistry. After moving back to his native Illinois, he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Jirsa then completed a master’s degree with a certificate in periodontology from Ohio State University before moving to Arizona to open his practice.
As a patient-focused doctor, he makes sure that your needs, comfort and concerns are of the highest priority. He prides himself on staying abreast of the latest technology and providing you with the most advanced care available. For instance, his office is equipped with a Cone Beam CT scanner. This high-tech device increases the accuracy of dental implant placement while reducing surgical time and the healing period following treatment.
Dr. Jirsa also values maintaining strong collaborative relationships with referring general dentists and being a part of the local dental community. He is a member of the following organizations:

Dr. Jirsa has always tried to give back to the local community. Currently, he is a senior member of the Kiwanis Club of Prescott, a board member of the Prescott YMCA and a mentor with the Yavapai Big Brothers program. He is married wtih two children and five Italian Spinones.
